GUSAC Carnival

Event Description

GUSAC Carnival is the annual international Techno-Cultural festival of Gitam University, Visakhapatnam. GUSAC Carnival has events spanning the entire engineering spectrum, in addition to the management events that have provided a common platform to the smartest talent across the country and abroad. It serves as a great tool to dissolve the barriers between industry and students.

Spotlight Events:

RIPTIDE:

Description:There will be three rounds, each round assigned with different tasks. The participants need to design and make a boat such that it meets the requirements needed to complete the task efficiently.

Jenga:

Description:

Get ready for a classic block stacking and stack crashing game of Jenga.

ARQUERIA:

Description:

A modern replica of an ancient war game of archery where participants have to design and fabricate a bot capable of moving on a circular rod and shooting a small table tennis ball by aiming the bull’s eye.

Roborun:

Description:

It is basic robot using ATMega8 where the participants have to assemble and code it when required for making it capable to run over different paths to reach the assigned destination at different levels of event where time lapse plays the major role.

AEROLINER:

Description:

Automatization of unproductive work is the prime aim of robotics. Container relocation is one such potential area area which can be tended to.

Your task is to build a robot which traverses a zip line and carries blocks to the required location.
