Event Description

Many of us who enjoy cycling in early morning know how amazing it feels, the cool morning breeze filling our warm chest, the sun peeking over the horizon, the fresh smell of morning air and the empty wide streets made just for us. Cycling is the best way to achieve physical fitness and good health. It also saves a lot of fossil fuels and helps in reducing global warming. Early morning cycling burns 300% more fat than exercising in any other time of the day. But sadly most of the youth of our nation have not even tried this wonderful experience even once.

Techfest, IIT Bombay brings forth a full-fledged campaign ReCycle to promote health and fitness among the youth. ReCycle consistis of three events a college campaign, an online campaign and the final cyclothon which looks forward to bring a better health and fitness to the youth of India.

Cycling symbolises a stand for fitness and environment consciousness, and the campus of IIT Bombay with its lush green environment is an appropriate destination for the event. We expect the citizens of Mumbai to embrace the event and come out in large numbers to participate.

Event participation is open to all cycling enthusiasts regardless of their age.
