Hult Prize 2015 at Bits Pilani Goa Campus

BITS Pilani Advances to Regional Finals of 7th Annual Hult Prize in response to President Bill Clinton’s Crowded Urban Spaces Challenge

[Goa, 15th December, 2015]

The Hult Prize has recently announced the winning team from BITS Pilani that has advanced to the 7th annual regional finals of the competition.

The Hult Prize is a crowdsourcing platform for social good, named one of the top five ideas changing the world by President Bill Clinton and TIME Magazine. In partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative, the innovative crowdsourcing platform identifies and launches disruptive and catalytic social ventures that aim to solve the planet’s most pressing challenges. This year, the Hult Prize is focused around finding solutions for the millions of slum dwellers around the world that are affected by Crowded Urban Spaces Challenge – a challenge selected by President Bill Clinton.

The winning team members from BITS Pilani include Parth Madan, Sagar Bildani, Kartik Aggarwal and Shourya Bose, together composing Team Sudhaar.

 

 

 

 

The team will now move on to compete at the Hult Prize regional finals in March 2016,which are being hosted at one of Hult International Business School’s five campuses in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai and Shanghai.
