Join Ms. Kavya Aradhya at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore for Introduction to Block Printing and hands on experience. Block printing is one of the oldest forms of printmaking in which a carved block is covered in ink to transfer images onto paper or fabric. This workshop is a basic course and will cover the print paste preparation and printing process. Participants will learn about different block printing tools, carving of block, and print their pattern with the blocks provided. Tools and materials are included in the cost of the workshop. One tote bag and paper bag will be provided per participant for printing along with the materials required.
