Associate Business Manager

Our Associate BusinessManagers stride confidently when it comes to pitching in for sales. Their hard work and dedication has provided TheCollegeFever the platform where it now stands. The firm footing of those working in this department helps take care of sales, marketing and everything that lies along the way. Challenging is the word to describe this job and these Managers have taken it up with utmost sincerity and passion.

Position Overview

The Associate Business Manager is the first point of contact for all business prospects who contact TheCollegeFever through various channels and is responsible for generating sales opportunities for new business. The BDE will engage with a high volume of prospects via chat, phone and e-mail for sales, qualify leads and help build the channel for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Making effective sales pitch.
  • Generating leads.
  • Assessing Customer behaviour via Market Research.
  • Relationship building.
  • Campus Networking.
  • Follow up on sales/product inquires over chat, phone and e-mail.
  • Capture, update and maintain detailed and accurate information of Database.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the field of Marketing and Sales will be preferred.
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any Graduate able to pitch for sales.

Position Overview

The Business Manager should work to improve TheCollegeFever’s market position and achieve financial growth. The Business Manager is responsible for generating sales opportunities for new business. The primary role of the Business Manager is to ascertain new clients by networking. Persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince people to do business with the company are required to be made. He/she should develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales, and are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services. The Business Manager will have to manage activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network with people as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet customers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the network.
  • Identify organizers and the decision makers within the organization and build relationship.
  • Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Using knowledge of the market, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM.
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
