Budding stars strut their stuff at NAEMD -JOSH 2015

Youngsters from colleges across the city wowed the crowds as they showed off their best moves at St Andrews Auditorium on 2nd December 2015. It was a world of colourful costumes and high intensity dances while fashionistas sashayed down the runway.

Following the retro theme – ACTION REPLAY, every aspect of JOSH represented retro-era through spectacular performances. It was indeed a celebration in style! JOSH is an inter-collegiate event conceptualized & managed by stuents of NAEMD (National Academy of Event Management & Development).

Students from several colleges like Mithibai, St. Andrews, Thakur, IBS, Ritambara, Lala Lajpat Rai, Lord’s Universal, St Andrews and many more, participated in JOSH 2015

However, the Lord’s Universal college students were thrilled when they found out they were in the top three and even more excited when they found out they had won the title for Best College-JOSH 2015!  St.Andrew’s college performed a high energy dance full of expression and engagement with the audience, winning top position for category Bollywood Retro Mix.

Lala Lajpat Rai College filled the atmosphere with all the glitz and glamour of the catwalk by putting up an extravagant Fashion Show & they won this category. Ritambara College danced to the tunes of English numbers and won the It’s Retro Time category.

Celebrity judges Surbhi Prabhu (Model & Actor), Pratik Dixit (Model & Actor) and Swati Agrawal (SDIPA), evaluated the performances. Also present were Mr Shashi Singh (Scotlane- Apparel Partner for JOSH 2015), Mr Mitesh Mehta (Enlighten India –Media Magazine Partner) , Mr Jacky Purohit (Tribal Zone –Accessories Partner) accompanied by Mr Vipul Solanki (Director NAEMD).

Highlighting the 10th Anniversary of JOSH, NAEMD Directors congratulated the organising team, staff members and the winners encouraging all students to explore their potential talent and avail such dynamic opportunities.
