MAGNOVITE is the annual techno-cultural fest of the Faculty of Engineering, Christ University, Bengaluru, to be held on 26 and 27 February 2016. Magnovite 2016 aims at encouraging scientific thinking, innovation, and knowledge of technology among the masses. 

The theme for this year's Magnovite is SIFAR. Sifar in Urdu means zero and zero is not just a number, but is a symbol universally recognized. Containing nothing, it encircles everything. This is the core idea of minimalism which strikes to the concept of concentrating on quality and not quantity, of achieving everything from nothing. Moreover, zero finds its roots in India and was essential in the formation of the game of numbers as we know it today
