1. SEISMECH is the annual mechanical departmental festival of IIT-G. It's the largest college departmental fest in North-East.

2. The fest was set-up with the motto to bring together the mechanical talent in our country together for the betterment of industry.

3. The fest constitutes of many sophisticated events like IDP (Industrial Development Program), Workshop, Lecture series, Exhibition etc in two phases being Pre-fest and during SEISMECH.

4. "GAON CHALO",the social initiative of SEISMECH is aimed at reaching out the rural parts and giving the young minds at schools a platform to learn about the various interesting projects.
