Objectives of the workshop 

Clarity on the research process and specific skills to take up research will be the outcome of these workshops. The trainees will be helped to be clear as to what to do and how to do research. The workshop participants will

•          Have clear understanding of what is research
•          Be able to formulate research problem and develop research objectives and hypothesis
•          Be able to write the research proposal in a methodical way
•          Have knowledge about the requirements of academic institutions and steps to complete the research
•          Have an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research
•          Be able to design instruments of data collection
•          Use  appropriate sampling procedures
•          Acquire skills  for scientific writing and review of literature with methods of citation and references 


Module III (4 days)
Participants will learn and work on data analysis, manual coding and SPSS workshop for 3 days.
