NIRMITI 2016 is aimed to provide an opportunity for the students from academic and young entrepreneur to present their innovative ideas in SMACT (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud, and Internet of Things) with a model for the future product development. We, the department of IT, VCET would like to create a center for excellence in SMACT. Hence, we are greatly interested in rewarding the student innovators and young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas on social enterprises in SMACT. The student winners of NIRMITI 2016 will receive awards a total grand prize of INR 1 Lakh.The winners of young entrepreneurs will be enabled with the potential investors’ for seed funding, followed by our mentorship throughout the development year to help their businesses to thrive. Our knowledge partner, Native lead foundation will be in the part of mentorship programme and setting up the business. We highly encourage the passed out students (future entrepreneur) to participate in the young entrepreneur contest.This event acts as a platform to directly connect the aspiring students and young entrepreneur with experts and seek mentorship.
